You can only hope to catch Floyd with the counter left hook when he's shooting the right hand, and Floyd is really selective when he shoots lead right hands which means it's ridiculously hard to time it. He also has the distance covered and brings the punch back insanely fast. Floyd neutralized Cotto, Marquez and Oscar's left hook, Mosley on the other hand didn't even try it.
I like Garcia, people think I overrate him, that's not really the case. All I'm saying is there are style match ups where you can't count him out. Mayweather destroys him though, it's that simple.Comment

if you throw a left hook.... floyd will either roll it, catch it on the glove or be well out of range....

floyd's only vulnerable over that lead shoulder... it's the only place he gets touched....
jab can be effective.... or the straight right.... but forget about a hook...
when floyd throws a hook or lead hook, his footwork takes him out of range for a counter left hook.... he steps around his opponent....
