I'm guessing you're about 15. Most people I have ever met, even people not into the sport know who Roberto Duran is. Hardly anyone I know knows who Broner is. What he does is a kind of embarrasingly bad parody of Floyd, plus he doesnt have the talent, discipline or intelligence to make it stick for any amount of time. He will lose soon and that will be that.

Why are you so suprised that ppl hate him?
He has purposely cast himself as the "heel" and revels in the attention he gets from playing the villian. Hell, even his name "Thr Problem" tells you this guy is a punk.
So im perplexed why you would find it strange that ppl hate on him....that is exactly what he wants.
Now as for your taste in music...well i cant help you out with that Problem

Prime Cotto would stop Broner easy. The Judah that fought Floyd would beat Broner. Get over yourself. Your young you like boxing and have picked a fighter to support, that does not mean he is great, it means you like him. Time will see where he goes but right now he is nothing.

I for one do not hate him, nor should anyone that claims to be fans of Muhammad Ali because he WAS the Broner of his time. He WAS obnoxious. He WAS ****y and he DID insult his opponents.

Ali was so bad he pulled up outside Liston's house at night and call him out and say fight me now. Theres also rumours he fired shots at Joe frazier.

Hmmm. If your fan base has to resort to your economic prominence rather than your in-ring dominance...as a boxer, you might be doing something wrong. Broner's WSHH cult like legion of "brokers" and "papeh stakkin'" warriors are a prime example of whats wrong with sports today.

Anyway, he is ok in ring. His defense is shakey and his chin is untested. He did show skill vs undersized opposition but didnt look spectacular vs a feather fisted Paulie at a more balanced weight difference. He got hit way to much by those thundering bombs Paulie is known to throw(lol)..so his defense is flawed. He couldnt walk/out muscle him neither and his flat feet didnt help the cause.

He does have a good win vs DeMarco and a decent win vs Paulie, but a monster puncher with little to no technical skill like Maidana will test his chin... but most of all his heart.

I have to admit Broner is growing on me and If he fights Marcos Maidana and then Lucas he definitely has more balls then Floyd. Broner doesn't mind getting hit and it makes for exciting fights so I don't know I'm starting to really like this guy in the ring. Out side of the ring well lets just say he still needs a lot of work.

Why should Broner making money make anybody like this Ahole???? If you like Broner then enjoy him. Good for you.If you think you can talk others into liking him you are wasting your time. Lots of boxing fans are always going to hate Broner even if he becomes the best and richest boxer in history because he is just so incredibly hateable. Lots of fans don't like a boxer that brags his ass off and shows such total disrespect for other good fighters. Lots of fans dislike Mayweather for the same reasons but Mayweather is not as bad as Broner and Mayweather has done so much more than Broner that he has earned the right to do some bragging.Trash talking and bragging is legal and it does not really hurt anybody but many fans just don't like it.Also Broner seems to call out fighters he has no intention of fighting. If Broner really wanted to fight Matthysse he could have had that fight a long time ago.
