At the ongoing WBO convention in Budapest, promoter Fernando Beltran made a request to the World Boxing Organization to sanction a final eliminator between former champions Hernan 'Tyson' Marquez and Giovani "Guerrero Azteca" Segura. The Marquez (36-3, 26 KO's) and Segura (30-3-1, 26 KO's) winner would become the mandatory challenger to WBO/WBA champion Juan Francisco 'Gallo' Estrada. Difference is Gonzalez is very technical and has brute power, Hernan on the other hand is more brawling orientated. I just dont see neither of them giving Estrada trouble. He proved he could take a punch and use lateral movements while stringing combos vs Viloria, then he proved he can box at an elite level vs Melindo. I believe he is one of Mexico's best fighters at the moment. Dont get me wrong i love segura and tysonito since way back but i feel like this is Estrada's time to shine.
