the thing is why should he move weights if he doesn't have to. He has to do things for his own health and family. I do not believe he is scared at all though.

You kids need to get off it. Chad Dawson spent literally years telling everyone who would listen that making 168 would be absolutely no problem. He literally spent years saying that, I know people he was saying that to like four years ago.

Dawson being an idiot doesn't excuse the fact that he was clearly compromised

So now if you want to fight at your natural weight you are afraid?

What is with you guys and wanting every fighter to be Manny Pacquiao????

If a fighter, especially the champion, is at his best at a certain weight class, that's where he should be. Fighters should move up in weight because they cant make weight, the division is too crowded with good/better fighters (like Malignaggi), or because no one will fight them (Williams), but moving up because you're better than everyone in the division?

                  Fucking. ******ed.

That's what the champion is; the best guy in the division. It's the champions job to sit on the throne and beat down the challengers. I see no reason for Ward to move up outside of chasing paydays/short money.

I honestly think most of you guys hating on Ward are just mad he dominated Froch, and Carl doesn't really want to fight him again. Keep hating.

Agreed and well put. I still see Ward as having unfinished business at 168 anyway. He needs to travel for big fights just like the other champions travelled for him.
