This is the logic, but it still seems odd. If the teams weren't nationality inclined, it would make much more sense. If it were the Mexico City "Guerreros," or something like that, it would be okay.

And lmao at your translation! I didn't even know what the word meant. I had to ask my lady.
It makes sense man. If the Mexican team hopes to be competitive, they'll need imports at the higher weights. Same for any far eastern team, not sure if there are any

Hey if Cubans can get fat fks in a country where eating beef (killing a cow) is fking illegal, im sure the Guerreros could come up with a couple of fatties too. lol

I understand the Mexicans need some hired guns to compete at the higher weights. Maybe I'm too accustomed to national teams. The concept of free agents seems discordant.

It's sold as a pro league. This is how any pro sports operate, hired guns welcome.

Cuba has talent across all weights, so they don't need imports. It'd probably be kind of an insult if they brought one

Just finished watching the fights and again tough Mexicans and very talented Cubans. Props to both teams for putting on very entertaining fights. The Irish dude and the Mexican in the second fight had very smart aggression. The Cuban guy in the fourth fight is a ****ing beast and will do really good in the pro's.

Yeah, that was Toledo, my favorite of the Cubans that fought last night. He's looking real good.
