Surprised about the equal punching power? Not me. We know Mayweather isn't a one-punch KO artist, even-though he had a lot of stoppages in the lower weight-classes, but his power at 147 (and a little above) is underrated, IMO. Especially if you consider his low punch output/landed shots on his opponents.

Floyd must punch solid otherwise these top guys that are always much bigger than him would just run over him , but he makes them go into a shell and throw the lowest amount of shots in their career , Floyd doesn't go all out for KOs he just fights a very calculated assault needed to win , best ring IQ in the game .

I think Canelo is a very dangerous fight he is going to be really strong and his hand speed is very high , Floyd don't want to stand in front of him for too long , to quote a catch phrase " float like a butterfly sting like a bee "

That's because the comp is not as quick or sharp at 175 and above , its easier in the bigger weights , and Floyds not 48 yet so who knows .

Im looking at the actual ring performances more than the length of time , speed and accuracy is the first thing that leaves a fighter , that's why the lighter weights will catch you .
