Agreed, Matthysse lost to Zab so surely he would lose against Khan.. triangle theory out of the way Matthysse can't fight boxers and if a smart Khan comes out he will end the hype train.
Will Matthysse duck Khan at 147?

I do feel Matthysse has trouble against skilled boxers, especially those with speed such as Khan. However, Khan's greatest attribute, his heart, is his greatest enemy at times, and has resulted in the down side of his career.
Now, this is just my opinion, but I feel Khan could've very-well been undefeated at this point. His problem is he's not content with just boxing, sticking and moving, and getting the W in that fashion. He always ultimately decides to trade blows and go to war against his opponents, which results in his few losses. This is especially evident in his recent loss to Danny Garcia. IMO, Khan was dominating that fight, and got careless and decided to trade with Danny. I don't want want to take anything away from Danny, because he is a Warrior and a true champ, but i just thought Khan was the more skilled boxer and could've skated to victory.. His willingness to please the fans and throw blows has lead to his fall from stardom.Comment

You have this opinion that Khan is this great fighter that everyone is afraid of. Most people on here don't share that opinion with you and I don't think Khan is very good anymore. He was better two or three years ago than he is now.Matthysse is fighting the guy who recently KOed Khan so why would he duck Khan? Hell no, Matthysse would not duck a fight with Khan at 147 pounds or 140 pounds or 200 pounds. He would knock Khan out with pleasure. How many more Khan threads do you plan on making today?Comment

Agree with everything you said. I love Khan for his bravado, but wish he would just "mayweather" (i.e. use his physical gifts and superior boxing ability) his way to easier victories.Comment

Thanks man. I think if Khan decides to decides to perfect his boxing craft, and be just a tad bit more reluctant to trade bombs with every opponent, he can revamp and prolong he career. He also needs to polish his defense.. If I'm not mistaking, he recently dropped Freddy Roach as his trainer, so that should help that cause. Don't get me wrong, I think Roach is a helluva trainer, but he seems to specialize in flourishing his fighters offensively, while they usually leave a lot to be desired defensively.Comment
