I think Santa Cruz can be atleast as good as Margarito was at welterweight. He'd probably get outboxed by rigo but he can beat mares and donaire.

At this point how can you not like Santa Cruz? I thought he looked more vulnerable in his last fight than his last few previous ones, but we will see how he progresses as his quality of opposition increases. The guy seems to have the drive, skill, and motivation to go far in this sport.

I'm not sold on him until he moves up in weight, I mean the guy's 5' 7 1/2" tall and he's fighting at 122lbs wtf. If your a good talented fighter you shouldn't have to pic on smaller dudes. That being said I do like Santa Cruz because he is a body puncher that I never see stray low and he does mix it up really nice but eventually he will have to step it up and fight somebody that's maybe bigger then him and hits harder, then we'll know if he is p4p material.
