Due to his style, he just cant fight with tall guys....i can bet he couldve done a muhc better job with Martinez than with Froch or Ward...

Y'all are better at making excuses for Abraham's awful performances than he is.

Moving to 168 wasn't some gutsy move. He had no choice because he lacked the discipline to make 160 and had pushed back half his fights because he would kill himself trying to make weight, realize he wasn't going to make it, then fake an injury or illness to buy time.

The S6 was a cash out by Sauerland, not an example of Abraham's determination to fight the best. His resume at 160 was downright pathetic and he lost to every decent fighter he ever faced except for Taylor who was washed up at that point the same way Abe is now himself.

His style is also completely awful to watch. Stand around doing **** all for the 2:30 while mixing in 30 seconds of crude flurries.

Don't see why people are trying make a case that he was good early in his career because he wasn't, in fact he was garbage then and garbage now. No boxing skills,no speed, just power and that gets you no where in the long run. Bottom line is you can't win a dam fight if you don't throw punches and that was what put a nail in the coffin. Hope he finds another career because boxing ain't it. Again throw fu$$ccccking punches, his dam punch output is a freaking joke.

More like due to his lack of boxing abilities. All he does is walk forward MAYBE throwing 2-3 punches per round. Canelo outputs more than him and his stamina sucks.

AA had power and nothing more, he has no notable wins other than against Stieglitz which was questionable and avenged by a tko.

His skills were/are average at best, his punch output ****** because of his limited skills, BUT (as the article says) even with such flaws at least he took the risk and mixed it up with the best. I remember Felix Sturm avoiding him at 160.
Maybe he didn't couldn't make the weight at 160... BUT at 168 he could've stayed in Europe and "Felix Sturm"-ed there with a decent payday.
If I remember correctly Lucian Bute wasn't too keen in participating in the Super Six, instead he wanted a shortcut to face the winner of the Super 6... and Pavlik bluntly refused, saying something (don't remember what) that made me hate him.

If he had no abilities then he would not succeed against Taylor...and if he was "garbage" and easy to fight against like you all say, Pavlik along with his team and TopRank would have agreed to fight him at MD weight....so you are saying that they didn't know **** about boxing and his "limited" abilities???

When Arthur moved up in weight he also moved up rather drastically in class and it proved one thing. And that was that he was never that good of a fighter.

He sucks, he has no notable wins but yet he's Stieglitz' best win in 48 fights ... What does that tell us about Stieglitz and his opposition ?

When will Stieglitz finally man up and fight the top dogs in the weightclass instead of fighting Japanese unknown contenders. AA at least had the balls and the desire to do it, will Stieg do it ? I'm not sure about it.
