You don't start a hard weight cut until like the last 2 weeks of camp. Look at Manny, the guy would cut 15 pounds fighting at 130 then gain 16 pounds over night.

152 is only a contract catchweight, he only loses his belts if he goes over 154 lbs...

That's the smart way to do it , it will depend on if they are having any trouble making weight in that last 10 hrs , Canelo will not hurt himself for the weight , if it was that much of a breaker he will pay the fine and come in at 154 .

He will be fine at 152 going by his 30 day weight and he is not bothered at all by the weight .
