Why is Oscar so mesmerized with the jab. Now Mayweather knows and will have an easy day at the office now that he know what Canelo will be throwing. Good luck to Canelo. He's going to need it.

I see why Oscar never won the big ones. His knowledge of the sport is elementary. Canelo is very popular and sells tickets, but he is not a great fighter. He is a class B fighter. I give him no chance to beat Floyd. The speed and the experience will be overwhelming. Floyd has the far superior skills. But in saying that, its time for Floyd to stop cruising to a victory and go in for the kill. These fights are entertaining when its live due to the anticipation, but to go back and watch them, you realise how boring it was. If Floyd wants to consider himself an all time great, then he needs to do what the all time greats did. He needs to KO his overly matched opponents and stop always taking the safe route.

I've seen that fight like twice and both times it was close and if Oscar feels he won, I ain't got no problem with that

Exactly. Recently rewatched and scored it very carefully. 115-114 in a razor-thin victory for Floyd.

It wasn't even that close. The early rounds were, I had it 3-3 after 6. But please tell me another round Oscar won after that clearly, I'll wait.....it was 9-3 Floyd, 8-4 at the closest.

I gave Oscar rounds 7 & 8 as well. Gave Floyd round 9. Rounds 8 & 9 were two of the closest in the fight, IMO (along w/rounds 3 & 6).

You may want to go back and watch the fight again. Floyd landed a good number of hard shots on DLH. He buckled Oscar with a counter right off the ropes and then with a hook to the body late in the fight (10th or 11th). There's a reason why DLH stopped jabbing. It wasn't pitty pat punches.

I don't think I could take the monotony. It was a tedious "fight" (or boxing match). All I remember is Oscar coming out the fight fresh-faced saying he didn't even feel like he'd been in a fight.
