Honestly though, Floyd pitty-pattied the hell out of him boxing on the backfoot. Oscar had an odd burst of activity here and there where he got Floyd on the ropes. He didn't take enough risks to win in my view.
Oh he did take risks at one point and almost got KO'd, so he chilled and cruised to 12 like all other mayweather opponents, they give up...

Floyd is about making you quit, thats why he boxes **** like 21 minute rounds...

It's not what the crowd wants and people hate his bravado but you cant deny skill

I don't remember that, but it's a few years since I watched the fight. I found Oscar frustrating to watch in that bout, it felt like he could've put it on Floyd but was unwilling to take a shot to close the distance to land a shot.

How many interviews have you stated that you lost that fight?

Now today you all of a sudden think you won?
Oscar must be back f-cking with that stripper who had him wearing fisnets.
I hope he not back on the yayo too.
Yesterday he was lying, today he's telling the truth.

Oscar is wrong about Canelo, but I am of that minority that believes Floyd didn't do enough to win, and that's my most watched fight probably ever. WAR DE LA HOYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

You may want to go back and watch the fight again. Floyd landed a good number of hard shots on DLH. He buckled Oscar with a counter right off the ropes and then with a hook to the body late in the fight (10th or 11th). There's a reason why DLH stopped jabbing. It wasn't pitty pat punches.

Let's not forget when Oscar De la Hoya fought Floyd Oscar came in weighing 154 Floyd was only weighing 148 that night. So what you saw was a welterweight outbox and beat up a junior middleweight . Additionally, Oscar had Floyd wearing Heavyweight 11 Ounce gloves I believe. Whatever the Glove size they were much heavier than normal. Oscar might have been stopped against Floyd if Floyd was as strong as he is now and was allowed to compete with normal gloves.
