  • Mayweather vs. Canelo, Buy tickets from reseller website or Wait until Vegas??

Iīll be on Vegas on Sep 14, do any of you guys have experience of trying to buy the tickets in Vegas?, last time I went I bought them from Stubhub and there was another guy next to me who waited until fight day and bought them a lot cheaper than I did, not sure how to go with this....

Iīm from outside the US, so donīt have much experience with how to get them in Vegas...donīt know if there are resellers offices, or will it be outside the arena, I would really appreciate any comments....thanks!

there are a lot of people selling them right around the entrance to the grand garden arena the day of the fight. yes the prices go down significantly on the day of the fight and even more once the under cards start. if you are really trying to save money then you can wait until many of the undercards are finished and then hit up the scalpers standing right outside the grand garden arena. its obviously they are selling because they are chanting: TICKETS TICKETS

Well buying tickets from outside the arena means the Box Office there, which is SOLD out. The only other option is ticket scalpers which sell them at a %500 markup, they do stand outside the arena selling but for one thing it's no promise that you are gonna like their price.

i always buy tickets on the day of.

theres no possible way a venue is completely sold out, well it might be but theres always people or scalpers selling tix outside ready to be hustled. they are desperate to get their money back for an unused ticket

And yes prices do go slightly down because you are gonna pay a profit price.

            Definitely not face value.

Just out of curiosity what price are you expecting to pay on the day of the event by buying from scalpers?

As of today on stubhub a ticket costs about $1000 and up to $20,000.

If you can, get your tickets ASAP. This is not like the Mayweather-Guererro fight. For this fight thousands of mexicans will be at the MGM willing to pay anything to get inside of the arena. The prices won't get any lower for this fight.

Iīm paying around $1,500 ....I think in any event, resale prices always go down on the same day or even more if the undercards start, itīs a risk to wait, but paying that for the worst seat of the arena just to secure a seat, I think itīs not worth it.
