How is that my logic? I know Haglee is an ATG. Willie Pep never moved up either what hes not an ATG. You just said real atgs move up when they need a challenge. Yet Hagler never did. He couldve fought plenty of top light heavies of his era but he didnt. So he wasnt a real ATG in your eyes then.

Floyd has moved up 5 weight classes. He has to go to 160 now to get respect from casual noob boxing fans who doesnt know hes been boxing pro for 17 years.

Now replace Hatton with a bigger, better, more durable, harder hitting, longer reach, better boxer, ability to hurt you with 1 shot version of himself, and the fight would've had the opposite outcome.
So basically, a completely different fighter than Hatton

Didn't one a dem Floyd fans say that since Ortiz couldn't land body shots on Floyd, it meant Duran couldn't either?? Comparing Ortiz to Duran should be banworthy.

            Someone didn't watch Hagler/Hearns.

Replace Hearns with a guy that routinely gets trapped against the ropes, and his shots wouldn't even put a dent into Hagler.

If it helps you to put words in my mouth, then so be it. Knock yourself out. Each fighter is rated on their own resume, skills and choices.

Floyd's tenure as a pro has absolutely nothing to do with what weight he should fight at. That defense is weak and transparent.

This fight with Canelo is probably the closest we'll see Floyd fighting a Middleweight when dealing with what Canelo will weigh the night of the fight. But against Hagler, it's just a bad fight for him, just like IMO a Golovkin fight is bad for Floyd too. Weight classes at some point DOES make a difference.
                Nothing to add to this.

There have been trolls that said Duran was a flat footed Baldomir. It gets crazy sometimes.

Someone in that thread honestly tried to argue that Leonard may not go undefeated against Floyd's comeback run. They meant it too, they argued about it for two or three pages.

No one in this tread so far is saying Floyd has a chance in hell. However some are using weight, size same day weight ins. (You know), Floyd fan style. But with no 154 in between, Floyd weighting more than 147 gets him middleweight, (and a beatdown of epic proportions).

What are you talking about? His tenure as a pro includes him moving up 5 CLASSES ALREADY.

Did you miss that part of his career? Only on NSB does a 37 year old past prime Floyd have to move up to his 6th weight class and fight Golovkin to get respect.
