Floyd is in for an ass whooping. Canelo will effectively cut the ring off and punish Floyd against the ropes. Floyd will get hit everywhere; you think that shoulder roll will work? We will see how he likes getting his shoulders dislocated.

So a pound dont make a difference now boxing ?
Touve never heard of fighters struggling to make
weight and they need 1 more pound to come off??

I said from day one when the 154 pound champ floyd said
152 catchweight i sneezed an said (bi * ch). The weight will effect him, but whatever makes floyd look good.(more stipulations like usual)

... and Floyd will tragically collapse into the process.

Are we gonna see a new Alvarez? Because I never saw him as a pressure fighter. And smart or reckless pressure against Floyd is not gonna matter. Alvarez would still be slow and Floyd would still be to quick and tag up Alvarez.

People are putting too much stock in Canelo. Don't get Me wrong he's a very good fighter. And has potiental. But like what happened to Ortiz, he needs the experience and more training before he's ready for someone who's probably seen it all in Floyd. It's just how it goes. There both were young and Canelo is not a mental midget like Ortiz but he's still green IMO. Coming into his own but hell be so confused come fight night hopefully he learns from the loss instead of letting it set him back. Hoping for a decent fight though.

I didn't hear anyone saying that Canelo is ******.
                Canelo is smart.
                Is it enough?

Man, people on here talk about Canelo as if he is some helpless shlub. The dude is beating up on professional fighters who were obviously good enough to be put on HBO and Showtime in previous fights and he was good enough to beat Trout, open scoring or not.

He was able to win national championships as a little kid and 3G says he's the best guy he has ever sparred with. I would not be shocked if he did beat Floyd tbh, people talk about him as if he is a boxing GOD, when in fact he wanted to take on the "kid" 2 years earlier. So if he is inexperienced now, why would Floyd want to fight him two years ago?

If Floyd is a 154 pound champ, why the catchweight? I think a lot of you already know the answers to these questions. My concern is how far is Floyd willing to go to ensure he doesn't lose? Is uncle Roger going to toss a chair into the ring when Canelo starts to put it on Floyd? Will Floyd Senior claim low blows or cheap shots when Floyd starts to doubt himself?

Floyd may win in the end but all this talk of him getting a KO against Canelo is ridiculous. Floyd is gonna get tagged in this fight, there is no other way around it.

I am kinda getting excited about this fight.

I think we have to say that Canelo is a fresh prime elite. Of course Canelo is not in his PRIME, he is still a youngster and for that reason JR is fighting him now but I think we must give Canelo the title as ELITE.

I have raved about Jr not facing a prime elite for several years now so he is facing one NOW.

I hope Canelo takes the advice about the Jab and effective smart pressure.

If one lays back and does not attempt to shut down Jrs Exits after his right hand to the head, then you will see JR smile because he just won the fight.

Canelo Must rip the body up no matter how many will say he can't

Canelo must find ways to shut down the exits and use that Jab and rip that body with that left hook and uppercut.

I must admit Canelo is MUCH MUCH faster these days.

I am in a bind !!!! The judges won't give a remote chance for a SD or UD

                    so

I must take Canelo by KO

Because they don't think he has any chance of winning. Like how u and many others feel about Danny fighting Lucas. I though think both Danny and Canelo will win.
