This is ridiculous. He got crowds because he was with Hatton and Canelo.
I think PBF is the best boxer alive, but his appeal outside of the US is zero. The are not related. JCCJr can fill stadiums in the US and Mexico, but doesn't make him better than GGG. So what?
Without fighting a Mexican, he wouldn't fill a restaurant in Mexico City, while Pac would fill a stadium.
This is just fanboyism.Comment

every song must come to an end....so they say....I fear for the state of boxing especially on the international stage. Lets face it Floyd might slightly be a bigger star here in the US but globally Manny is the king. In Asia he's one of the most famous athletes right up there with Tiger Woods, Jordan, Beckham etc. he's a brand name. When he retires not only does boxing lose one of the true ATGs and arguably the most exciting fighter of the decade but it loses a international crossover star. No one else in boxing comes close to that kind of appeal except maybe Wilder providing he keeps destroying people and finishes off Wlad to become the hw king. It will be a sad day when Manny retires oh yes boxing will go on it always does but one of the brightest stars ever fading away will make things look a little darker.
when ali left boxing many people rued that boxing will suffer a big blow...and boxing did take a big blow....
but boxing survive.....
partly because of new exciting talents....
mostly because boxing fans remain as boxing fans......Comment
