    When Manny retires...

I fear for the state of boxing especially on the international stage. Lets face it Floyd might slightly be a bigger star here in the US but globally Manny is the king. In Asia he's one of the most famous athletes right up there with Tiger Woods, Jordan, Beckham etc. he's a brand name. When he retires not only does boxing lose one of the true ATGs and arguably the most exciting fighter of the decade but it loses a international crossover star. No one else in boxing comes close to that kind of appeal except maybe Wilder providing he keeps destroying people and finishes off Wlad to become the hw king. It will be a sad day when Manny retires oh yes boxing will go on it always does but one of the brightest stars ever fading away will make things look a little darker.

Manny might as well be retired now. Boxing is moving forward without him.

Floyd is fighting Canelo, Danny is fighting Matthysse, there are some new hype trains to ride, like GGG's and Lucas Matthysse has been called "the next Pacquiao".

When Manny retires the sport would say goodbye to one of the greatest in the modern era.

Pac fans it must have been a fun ride for you guys and even though Pacquiao got sparked bad no one can deny his greatness.

Just because boxing begins and ends with Manny for posters like you, doesn't make it the case for the rest of us...

Not in South America where the Argentinians and Brazilians are the kings or europe where's its the Klits or Asia where it's Manny or Mexico where canelo or JMM rule.

Floyd is big here but internationally he never had the goods to be crossover.
