Arthur Abraham continues to climb the WBO's ranking as he tries to land a mandatory position to face Robert Stieglitz (45-3, 26KOs). Abraham won a twelve round decision over Stieglitz last year to capture the WBO's title at 168-pounds. Earlier this year, Stieglitz reclaimed the belt with a fourth round TKO after Abraham's eye was swollen shut, and the ringside doctor would not allow him to continue. Now Abraham and his team are making moves to force a trilogy meeting.
