if Mayweather resume is trash at 147 what does it say about PAC, Marquez, etc.

Mayweather has the best resume out of all active welterweights...wins over lineal welterweight champions Judah, Baldomir, belt holders at 147 Hatton, Mosley,Ortiz and champions like MarqueZ, Guerrero, Mitchell. Far impressive than anything Mosley, cotto, Pacquiao, Berto or other belt holders of this era have on their ledger..

Some say he didn't fight guys who had a chance to win, but the guys some claim he ducked did nothing of true significance for him to fight them...Williams was a prospect, Margarito had a trinket and best win was over ordinary six heads Lewis maybe cintron,
PAC was a fight that should have happened but Arum sucks

wanted him to fight Margarito at a time when Margarito had no big signature wins and a lowly wbogus belt and Mayweather fought the real champion for more money like everyone on here would have. Some wanted him to fight Williams who really did nothing significant at welterweight lost to the decent quintana and had no big wins before Mayweather retired in 07....as for PAC Arum killed that fight IDC who think it's the two fighters faults are idiots...

Answer me this....who are these " real threats" he avoids and he beats better competition than everyone at his weight?

Stop it already. Hes going to be remembered as someone who avoided the best possible welterweights. He refused to fight the best welters from 06 to 2010. He said it himself, "Im not trying to fight no welterweights".

Cotto and Clottey single handily would beat every 147lb fighter Floyd has beat. And since you count Floyd catchweight victory ( which he cheated on the scales) over Marquez then I'm sure he counts for you know who.

And since Marquez has a victory over an ATG welterweight unlike Floyd I would say his is about equal.

I don't know about you but I perfer quality over quantity.

What all time great welterweight did Marquez beat? PAC is an atg but he sure ain't no Atg welterweight....beat an even older Mosley who hadn't won a fight in years, a old and weight drainded odlh who hadn't fought at 147 for almost a decade, very average clottey and cotto after being stopped by Margarito and barely beating clottey....not impressive or even top 20 at welterweight are you serious?

It kills you that Floyd will be remembered as the greatest and most talented fighter of this era.

                Zab Judah-IBF Welterweight Champ
Carlos Baldomir- WBC & IBA Welterweight Champ
Ricky Hatton- Top 10 P4P (career jr. welter)
Juan Manuel Marquez- #2 P4P (career featherweight)
Shane Mosley- WBA (Super) Welterweight Champ, #3 P4P
                Victor Ortiz- WBC Welterweight Champ
Robert Guerrero- WBC Interim Welterweight Champ

That's not a bad resume by a long shot. In fact I take this resume over any fighter at the weight in the past 5 years.

It gets tiring seeing any fighter insulted when they fight the top opponents compared to anyone else
