      I was in disbelief after the first knockdown because I could see Abner's eyes as he went down and he was visibly rocked, after that the way he just started swinging it was only a matter of time until Gonzalez knocked him down again.

      At the weigh in you could just see the clear natural size difference, Johnny having a much larger frame with much less upper body muscle like Abner now has.

      Did the ref stop the fight too quickly? Yes, he should have let him attempt to stand up, but he's gonna come back a stronger fighter, hopefully at 122 so that he can challenge Rigondeaux.

      For now cong**** to Johnny Gonzalez who went beast mode and finished it early.

      I think if Mares had warmed up this could have been a war, Mares could still have been caught at some point but I think the action would have been amazing, assuming Abner was able to survive those last seconds of the first round and regain his legs. We can not know until we get a rematch. Leo Santa Cruz dominated Terrazas which was impressive. Great card for the fans all in all. Hopefully next time they don't get Jack Reiss to referee though.
