In the coming days, junior welterweight contender Lucas Matthysse (34-2, 32KOs) is planning to spar with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12KOs). Both boxers have very important fights coming up. Matthysse is going to face WBA/WBC champion Danny Garcia (26-0, 16KOs) on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, while Bradley will defend his title against Mexican superstar Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center, also in Las Vegas. I don't like this. Someone could get cut or another injury and one of the fights gets cancelled. Or both burn each other out and leave their best in the sparring and training and come to the ring not at their best.Comment
