What a shocker in a fight right? I guess Gonzalez had planned on boxing Mares and had doubts on wether to trade with him and use his left hook. It looks like that risk paid off big. Give me Santa Cruz vs. Gonzalez!

Nah. He was setting it up. Earlier in the round he gave Mares a feint and threw that same left hook that partially landed. He also caught Mares with a nice right hand that landed pretty cleanly.
This guy has 47 KOs. He knows what he's doing in there. Not to mention he got a mastermind in his corner.Comment
