I would pick prime Paulie but I think Maidana's activity level can win the fight for him.

People need to understand this is Paulie Malignaggi we're talking about here, who is every bit as limited a fighter as Maidana is. It wasn't even a year ago that Malignaggi was comprehensively beaten by a very, very mediocre fringe contender in Cano.


And who says he can't hurt him? Malignaggi is pretty durable, but he has been hurt a number of times in the past. The biggest issue here is that Malignaggi has nothing to hurt or even keep Maidana honest with, nor does he possess the footwork or stamina to evade an ultra-aggressive, heavy-handed swarmer for the full distance at this point.

And Khan is a much better fighter than Malignaggi. I fail to see how citing Khan's victory over Maidana supports the argument that Malignaggi would beat him as well.
