I'd love a Marcos KO but I would take Broner in this. Is this fight happening?

Broner has made several statements that he wants to damage both Maidana and Matthysse. According to Matthysse, Broner will never reach him. Based on Broner's performance against Paulie Malignaggi in June, Matthysse is not convinced the very outspoken boxer can handle the bigger and more powerful fighters at 147-pounds. Maidana in 10, I will be here waiting to see if all the people that scoffed show up and eat their crow.

Maidana is a real test for Broner. Even if Broner beats him, I don't think he beats Lucas - who is a very hard puncher and underrated boxer.

I don't think it will happen but it can if Broner stands there and trades punchdes. Maidana better tape phone books to his ribs!

Three days ago: Broner is the truth
Two days ago Floyd sr disses Broner: Well he does have a point
Today: Broner is the future!!
Can people make up their minds? Listen any non fanboy knows in their heart Broner got one gift decision in his career already and ironically to a fighter whose style is reminiscent of Maidana. If dude had a future you best believe he would've gotten Broner's 0 already. Funny enough they haven't paired Broner up against a fighter like that in 3 plus years!! Broner fought Quintero for 8 rounds and barely won 2 rounds..Quintero folks...Yes Quintero. Now I'm usually one to leave the past as the past but come on..Quintero? It's only a matter of time before Broner gets plastered and most folks on here will act like they never liked him. Has he improved? I would hope so, his stance is a little tighter but watch that fight and see how he can't handle being the smaller guy in a fight which is why he won't get paired against bigger men at 140 or 147.

The deciding factor in this figjt for me is Broners chin. Hes never faced a true power puncher and welterweight at that. If Broners chin can't be cracked he'll win the decision in my opinion. If Broner can hurt Maidana to the body and has a good chin then he'll ko Marcos but I don't think he has that power. I think Broner will train seriously for this fight. I get the feeling he really thought Paulie was a soft touch and didn't take training seriously high on his own "power". I wouldn't put money on this fight unless the odds are crazy.
