Manny Pac and Tito Trinidad are the only two fighters....

....that they look so damn happy as they walk towards the ring. Everyone else looks nervous, or mad, scared, zoning out, dancing (Corey Spinx) or singing (Holyfield)....but mostly they look angry.

But when you see Manny, he's smiling happily! Tito is the same way! They love how their fans are loving them, I guess.

As for me, if I was a boxer, I'd look scared. Seriously. I've been in about 40 after school fights, all of them scheduled for after school coz fighting in school would mean expulsion. So all day at school, I would think about the fight and I start getting more scared and very nervous (but I was more scared of being called a coward). I've never backed off a fight in my life. But after school and I go meet the guy for the fight, I look mad...but inside, I'm freakin' out.

I imagine being a boxer, you know the other guy is trained to clobber you. This ain't no after school scuffle. You're up against a strong and well tuned man who makes a living beating up people. That's scary.

How Manny and Tito are able to feel and look happy is beyond me.

Confidence makes you look better than you actually are. Confidence is intimidating, and believe it or not those smiles are biproducts of confidence. Tito and Pac are very confident fighters. They also have very dedicated fans and that always helps.

Yeah....confidence....but no matter how good or confident I am, I'd piss in my shorts if I were a boxer about to enter a Championship fight.

I've seen just about all of Tito's fight. He has a baby face too and he doesn't look all that tough....but DAMN! When he smiles at his fans, he looks so innocent! Until he gets in the ring. Hell, I got nervous just looking at Fernando Vargas when he strode towards the ring.

Pac also has that boyish smile....both are very deceptive. You really can't judge a book by its cover.

Tito admitted he loved the cheers of the fans. Plus having a whole country behind you will make you train harder and training harder will lead to a very high confidence level.

I have seen alot of Titos fights too but I just never really looked at him that way,Maybe because I have alot of P.R. friends and am used to that look and know they are not all so innocent as they appear......In no way is that a knock to P.R. but like you said looks can be decieving.

they both just love to fight. two other guys who smile alot b4 their fights are rjj and floyd, but the keep a straght face on thier entrance to intimidate their opponents. but whenever roy went back to pensacola, he was smiling his ass off
