ring mag has no credibility broner and canelo arent p4p
bradley will prob make it now in a real p4p listComment

I think both of them are overrated. Broner especially.
But man, Mares got STARCHED by a faded fighter. That shouldn't happen to P4P ranked fighters.Comment

Are we talking Ring magazine here?
Because we all know why both are rated pretty high.
I mean when they both made the list, they leap frogged some people who've done more than themComment

in my eyes, RING magazine has already forfeited its status as the official p4p rankings.
Mares would definitely be out of the top 10 after a loss like this, but knowing RING's love affair with Golden Boy, they'll just stick Santa Cruz in the spot Mares filled.
2013 has already exceeded 2012 in terms of great + exciting fights but there was a lot more clarity at the top of the sport then: about a year ago, eight fighters were sure shots for a p4p top ten list: Mayweather, Pacquiao, Ward, Donaire, Sergio, Wlad, Marquez, and Mares. Bradley was in there also, because his performance against Pac wasn't bad considering the circumstances of his injuries.
Now I don't even have Sergio in my top ten, Pacquiao + Donaire are all the way at the bottom of the top 10. Bradley I have in there, but he's clinging on for dear life after almost getting KO'd against Provodnikov. And Mares has gotta be out. In my eyes, there are only five definite names as opposed to eight: Mayweather, Ward, Marquez, Wlad, and Rigondeaux. 6-10, there's sure to be a lot of variation.Comment
