Thats what happens when i fighter keeps hearing the media say he is toast. Sometimes it wakes up a sleeping giant. That giant be Jhonny Gonzalez.

Before Mares, Gonzalez looked so beatable. Now Mares does.

He got stopped by a good punch, I too think Mares is too small for the weight, he should consider moving down, because he has good power. Either way I wish him the best and one loss doesn't mean its the end of the world.

Gonzalez did what he had to went in there to win, and great sportsmanship showed too.

Gonzalez will say he can't rematch his best friend in order to KO him again... And so on...

I owe jhonny an apology. I was sure he was gonna get his ass beat. I think mares is a great fighter but gonzalez has the equalizer. Huge loss for Mares that sets back the santa cruz fight which I was really looking forward to.

Look forward to a rematch if there is one down the line.

Great year so far. Big big win for jnhonny..I owe him an apology.
