Once again Oscar jinx his own guy by opening his damn mouth. Every time Oscar predicts a winner they normally lose. If i was fighting under GB I'd make sure Oscar wasn't allowed to make any predictions in my fights.....

No Different Than Pacquiao Getting Caught By JMM; Both Deserve Rematches
Don't excuse Abner getting caught. It is Boxing. He got train wrecked. Pacquiao got caught, Peterson got caught, rios is gonna get caught, Khan will get caught and Mayweather will get caught as will Garcia. It happens.Comment

Dude, go get your eyesight checked. I saw this in high definition 53 inch clarity. I have watched that punch 10 times and it was short and crisp and fast like a Cobra. And no, he did put his hand in front, he had his right glove crossed over toward left cheek and his left glove was at his chest level when that punch came in. It's called replay and pause.Last edited by richardt; 08-25-2013, 12:22 AM.Comment

LOL. No word from CatchWeightKing yet??? He was talking mad shit to me yesterday about Mares being a P4P fighter! I told your dumbass he was nothing special. The Ponce fight proved that. Mares is easy to hit, flatfooted, no jab, easy to time, no angles, etc. Now talk shit about that clown.
This is the perfect example of a ****** poster.Comment

Huge upset! I have always respected Gonzalez, but I scoffed at this fight, as I never in a million years would've predicted that he'd be a threat to a top 5 P4P fighter like Mares. I also didn't put nearly enough stock into the fact that Nacho used to train Abner and knows first hand his strengths and weaknesses.
Anybody that thinks Mares should've been allowed to continue is silly, and I'm usually the one up in arms over early stoppages. And I have my doubts that Mares will bounce back stronger than ever. Tonight was the ultimate mind ****, and I think it will affect his fearlessness, among other things, moving forward.Comment

On a side note, the kid who also impressed me was Joesph Diaz, he was on the the card early. His style is developing nicely, was more agressive and accurate this time around. gonna keep an eye the kid.Comment
