Thurman vs Broner / Pavlik vs Taylor

There is a thread in Boxing history seeing similarities in the upcoming Garcia vs Matthysse to a Salvador Sanchez-Wilfredo Gomez fight.

In 2014, undefeated Keith Thurman is in a position for a WBA title shot held by Adrien Broner, I also see similarities for Thurman in Kelly Pavlik, who despite his unbeaten record is still not known to some fans.

Jermaine Taylor, after winning over Hopkins, has struggled in his title defenses against smaller opponents Ouma and Cory Spinks, the soon-to-be overrated Broner, who could only won by split decision over Paulie Malignaggi, can still escaped with a win over Maidana, but sooner or later, I see him losing or getting stopped by Thurman, or Matthysse (if he beats Garcia).

Broner has more pop then Taylor and Taylor was much more solid technically with a great jab. I dont really see the similarities.

Maidana is 10x the threat of Spinks or Uma because neither of them were punchers and neither was Taylor.

Thurman is more well rounded then Pavlik imo but what gave Pavlik the advantage was his length. He had a great jab and picked Taylor apart from range dropping bombs. Thurman cant do that to Broner hed have to make it a slugfest and risk getting dropped himself.

Thurman vs Broner would be an epic slugfest though

Broner would never take that. I wish he would. And I understand the comparison with taylor and pavlik. The outcome would be similar IMO as well.
