    Always remember ...

... most of the guys who are world ranked today, will suffer of premature alzheimer tomorrow.
Not a thing we want to happen to ourselves.
Keep a healthy distance to the sport of boxing.

Thanks for the warning, troll. I have been boxing for years and will continue to do so, not everyone who practices the sport blocks punches with their face round after round, hope you don't go too much farther in life with that binary thinking. Thanks for cluttering NSB with more basura though.

      Well, LoadedWraps.
Following boxing since the 1970's, I do know its history.
Be careful with your head - you might want it to function also when you're 50+.

**** it bro! I know a 21 old girl that was as healthy as can be that died from a brain tumor. Went to my gym 4x a week for the last 5 yrs just to workout. And boom the docs found the tumor and 2 months later she died. My point is live life to the fullest!! Balls to the wall baby.

20% of boxers get dementia pugalistica, and everyone gets hit, even Mayweather, it has a cumulative effect on the brain, look at Roger and Floyd Sr, clearly brain damaged.

"A girl had a brain tumor so I'm going to inflict damage to my brain". That's some breathtaking logic right there.

You missed the point. Life's for living, you could get hit by a bus in the morning.

The point is, that life's for living all through - i.e. even when we're getting aged.

“I don’t regret the experience, intense training and discipline I learned from boxing, but I’m not sure I would have gone into the sport back then if I would have known all the effects of head trauma that I know today."
(Words of former heavyweight contender Duane Bobick, who suffers from chronic traumatic encephalopathy.)
