    Where are the great LHW-HWs???

What happened to the age old tradition of light heavies moving up to the premier division and becoming champions? This isn't something that stopped in the sepia tinged era of black and white fights, it was happening as recently as Michael Moorer and Tomasz Adamek. But what's happened now? I know the 175lb division is probably in it's worst state ever and the hw division has giants such as the Klits, Ustinov etc but there are still a tonne of "normal" sized heavies out there, such as Haye, Pov and a bunch of American guys.

Is it simply a case of the LHW division no longer being good enough? Or is it financial? Or a mix of both?

I can recall only champions Michael Moorer, Michael Spinks, Roy Jones. And they are all in recent boxing history and only Moorer managed to hold the heavyweight title for a few defences. There was Bob Fitzsimmons, but he was heavyweight champ before he later won the lt. heavy title.

Great light-heavys who became heavyweight champs, or had success as heavyweights like Ezzard Charles, Gene Tunney, Billy Conn, Maxie Rosenbloom Young Stribling and etc. There are more than a few of these.

I know, but I'm saying why haven't we seen more of these in recent years?
