Could The Time Warner/CBS dispute affect May-Canelo PPV buys?

With no Showtime on the coast, cali and ny, that means no all access which helps lure in the casual fan by creating storylines and a human interest angle.

Look what 24/7 did for oscar/Floyd.

It will hurt sales IMO. Maybe not...Canelo is a big big star!

This fight wouldn't do past 1.3 million if TWC had SHO or not

And I don't see this getting resolved. David Letterman has been talking **** about TWC all week

NO. 24/7 did amazing for Oscar/Floyd because it was the first one of its kind. These types of documentaries are now boring with Floyd and Manny because they have done so many of them. Unless they really show what goes on behind the scenes, All Access and 24/7 are going to be the same old sports documentaries.

It's a possibility that it will hurt the PPVs but I don't think it will. There's going to be a lot of buzz on this fight the closer it gets to fight night. Plus I think the whole CBS TWC beef will be settled before the NFL season starts. TWC will start loosing customers once their customers start missing the NFL. DIRECTTV if giving away the NFL package for free right now too. I think everything is going to get settled.
