I notice in the Bradley fight how Jim & Max seem to see phantom punches that suppose to have landed. Then if you actually watched the fight over 90% of those so called punches/combinations hit nothing b uhh t air. Manny throws a lot but connect very little. Bradley won that fight because the judges wasn't wearing Bob Arum's prescription made glasses. Hopefully the judge's for the Rios fight won't be wearing tbem either....

that's because most of the guys he was fighting were weightdrained,marg,cotto,oscar,even clottey said he couldn't make the weight any more but took the fight for the money only because of that,he immediately went up in weight after that,that shot against jmm was with marquez whole body coming forward and pac coming in too,anybody will go down like that..Comment

Anyone that actually knows the sport and has followed both fighters knows Rios doesn't have the style to posses Pac problems. Sure Rios has a chance, but style wise Rios isnt a patient, counter boxer puncher that allows Pac to be cautious when throwing punches..
Rios will have his guard up high coming in forward and will try to smother Pac. Pac will eventually break up the guard by landing body shots to open Rios up..
Rios's chance 5% but really doesnt have the style to beat Pac.Comment

Kinda reminds me of Floyd picking Guerrero .... you know, fought most of his fights against featherweights or in that neighborhood then got the Berto fight and that was enough to make it legit for Floyd and his fans. Now that is the definition of cherry picking.
Even Guerrero stated that Floyd cherry picks!
Manny had Marquez and Bradley as options 1 & 2 but both said no. So Rios was option #3 ..... and remember that for Manny its a comeback fight ....

Only an idiot or a mexican would pick Rios. He is coming up in weight and is so tailor made for Pacquaio it is ridiculous. Pacquaio will pick him off all night long. He is too fast. Rios is a tough guy but is as rudimentary a fighter as it gets. Rudimentary doesnt beat Pacquaio. You need to be supremely skilled/smart like Marquez and counter him. Rios doesnt even know what a counter punch is. He's nothing but a brawler who comes in straight lines. I also dont think Rios is going to carry power anywhere at 147 that he had at 135. We already have seen in his few fights at 140 that his punches dont have the same thudding impact and now he's fighting a guy who has fought dudes from the light middleweight division.Comment
