Don't believe it had anything to do with ****ing lots of chicks unprotected. Tommy was a major junkie. He mostly likely contracted HIV from a dirty needle.

A crying shame.

I truly hate and despise the way so many boxing legends end-up as broken husks with such horrific mental/physical health and financial problems.

Frank Bruno's daughter - Nicola - produced a wonderful piece of TV journalism for the BBC about her Dad's mental health problems.

It did not get much publicity which was a shame and rather disgusting considering how the media and public asked so much of Frank in his prime.

But it was still sympathetic, brilliantly honest and really got to the bottom of Frank's massive/tragic illness.

Loathe seeing my heroes go through all of this...and can't help thinking that there need to be far more well-funded boxing charities which focus on helping people find a role for themselves from the moment they retire.

"He f_ucked so many women" That sounds much better and it suits his bad boy playboy image perfectly.....but it was most likely from drugs. He was doing heroin for many years and also injecting steroids like crazy.

He definitely has speaking problems now, either from constant drug abuse or he's punch drunk, but it's really clear that he has a speech issue in the later years.
