That only way for broner to progress with floyd's style is to train with either sr or roger. I don't know if broner is willing to leave the trainer that he has now.

The only thing Paulie lacked was power but he really brought it to Broner the whole fight. I'm surprised Mayweather Sr is saying this, perhaps he doesn't know the relationship that Broner and his son have.

But I disagree with Sr, Broner has done an excellent job with the Mayweather style. He just needs to use his feet more to slip punches as Mayweather does and he will have perfected it.

This looks like Mayweather camp trying to manufacture interest for Mayweather's next fight. Independently of the outcome of the Canelo fight it will still be a good fight. If Mayweather wins against Canelo, then the Broner fight will be a battle of two "undefeated" fighters (assuming Broner doesn't lose his next fight). If Mayweather loses (assuming no immediate rematch), then the fight is about a young champion trying to prove that he has the potential to become great, while Mayweather will be eager to prove that he is still a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah. They would tighten things up and fix the little details that Broner messes up on.

The other guy that could have helped is James Toney's old trainer but he passed away. Maybe Toney could teach Broner? lol

Wait so Mosley, Cotto, Guerrero, Marquez, Ortiz aren't real threats? hmmm Berto, Pacquiao, Margarito, De La Hoya, and a host of other fighters defeated by these men disagree's with you

He hasn't fought Maidana yet, so what SR. said is true. Maidana is a threat but far from elite.

Sr knows what's up, the kid is nothing special just vastly overrated. After Lucas chops danny up he can get it next.He keeps mentioning him guess he wants that death wish bad, once he signs that dotted line he'll be signing his own execution.Boi is too ****** to realize it he's too busy feeling himself, the clown won't know what hit him.
