He beat Barros soundly but Barros best win was a gift decision over Caballero.

I've been wanting to see Marrero. Watched a vid of him sparring Mendez and that's about it.
Actually, I think Mendez has always had pretty good skills and I also believe he has improved a whole lot. My concern with him has always been his work rate...needs to pick it up a little bit at times. This may be because of his stamina and he tries to pace himself. His opponent for Friday night might push him a little bit but I think he is the most technical fighter of the two and should win this fight without much issue.

Now, as far as Marrero...well, he is a very good prospect in my opinion but Cuellar is a hard hitter...and should test Marrero because I don't know if he has been hit before therefore don't know much about his chin. Lets see how he handles the pressure because I believe Cuellar will come to pressure him right away. So, with that being said I think Marrero needs to make sure he makes Cuellar respect his punches early so he can keep him at bay. And I do hope he does not decide to trade punches with him...not a good idea in my humble opinion.
