Comments Thread For: Mosley Says Mundine First, But Many More To Follow

The Gym Pedro “Rockero” Alcazar of Curundú in Panama was shocked on Wednesday with the visit by three-time world champion Shane Mosley.

Mosley is humble, nice and so he was seen by all the attendants in the Gym recommended to him ever since he arrived in Panama.

“Sugar” answered some questions, made some statements to the media and said he would return at 5 after training. He contacted two young boxers to spar the trainer Rigoberto Garibaldi to support him. He said good bye and disappeared just like that.

Must be hard to walk away from what you been doing since you where a kid. If he want's to fight let him fight but i don't think so many fighters would hang on at this age if it weren't for Hopkins. Both Jones and Mosley said Hopkins success motivated them to keep fighting after 40.

If he can beat mundine,,, I would like to see shane fight the following guys

            broner
            maidana
            zab
            khan

I do wish he would retire, but shane could still beat some guys,, just not elite guys like floyd, manny, and canelo

            I also think a shane-cotto 2 would be entertaining

fighters do have trouble letting go of the sport, but many of them, including mosley, fight late because they lost much of what they earned during their careers.

jin mosley used to manage shane. then she divorced him in california, a state notorious for giving women preferential treatment in divorce.

it's well documented that mosley is broke.

Yeah she seems to be kind of a vindictive person, i remember her posting here a few years back. I get that a woman taking care of the home or being a part in her husbands business should be entitled to some money in a divorce but it's seems a bit cruel when a judge can award here the money Shane sacrificed his health to earn.
