The 21st Century's Best Light Welters

This has been my favourite division over the last 13 years or so. It's the new 147lb, meaning it has produced a tonne of stars and some of the best match ups in recent history. So who in you opinion is the best lightwelter of the 21st century? Who would make it into your top 10?

    My List goes:

    1. Kostya Tszyu
    2. Ricky Hatton
    3. Miguel Cotto
    4. Timothy Bradley
    5. Amir Khan
    6. Zab Judah
    7. Ricardo Torres
    8. Kendall Holt
    9. Devon Alexander
    10. Danny Garcia

Mayweather should be there, irrelevant of the short stint. Probably below Tszyu and Hatton, who were long reigning champs. Pac should be as well, he only beat Hatton but that win alone puts him above Torres, Holt, Alexander, or Garcia.

Don't think Mayweather had a strong enough resume at the wright and although Pac had THAT KO win, it just wasn't enough.

Head-to-head......Mayweather beats them all. But he only real got 2 legit wins at 140 over Corley and Gatti.

Resume wise at 140.....probably Tszyu and Hatton. Pacquiao is right there too, he was the only guy to beat Hatton at 140. Next would be someone like Bradley.

Cotto didn't do much at 140 at all.

h2h Mayweather does this and that, the boy didn't have balls to make it reality so let's not talk about that.

But how are you going to say Cotto didn't do anything at 140? I can understand if you only started watching boxing post 2007 but if you didn't then that's just pure hate. The man defended the title about 6 or 7 times, against legit contenders, champs (future or pre). What more does he have to do? Plus he won a number of fights by KO. Come on bro

            1. Tszyu (Mitchell, Urkal, Judah, had other wins at 140 prior to the 21st century too)
            2. Hatton (Maussa, Urango, Tszyu, Lazcano, Paulie)
            3. Bradley (Witter, Peterson, Alexander, Holt)
            4. Pacquiao (Hatton was undefeated at 140)
            5. Khan (Paulie, Maidana, Judah, arguably Peterson too)
            6. Matthysse (close fight with Judah, deserved win over Alexander, adds Peterson too)
            7. Judah (close fight with Matthysse, beat Witter and Corley)
            8. Garcia (Holt, Khan, Morales, Judah)
            9. Mayweather (Corley and Gatti)
            10. Alexander (Witter and Urango).

Who did Cotto ever beat at 140 that was a top tier fighter??? He beat undefeated Paulie prior to Paulie ever doing anything.

To be fair, Floyd wanted to fight the Tszyu/hatton winner and Cotto at 140, those weren't his fault.

Cotto's reusme at 140 consists of Corley, Paulie, Torres, Bailey, Pinto. Only 1 of those guys was even in the Top 10 at 140 at the time Cotto fought him.

That's BS and you know, plus almost all those names have gone on to win title belts at later stages in their careers.
