watch Morales do this repeatedly in the first fight against Danny.

too lazy to post jpgs, check the video on youtube.
I understand where most people are coming from by backing Matthysse his power is phenomenal but like I said to theWeebler I think DANNY'S timing will make the difference, its not like Matthysse has'nt been outboxed before and Danny's a all round boxer, in my opinion and by watching his last few fights he has improved since the Morales fights. His win over Khan has given him a lot of confidence and going in Judah's back garden show he can fight under pressure, if Matthysse catches him early yes he wins but I think Danny has too much savy to be caught early on, I could be wrong but I can't wait to find out and I may land up eating my words.

I believe it was Garcia who was fading towards the end of the fight with an over the hill but spirited Judah.

If Garcia does in fact keep Matthysse off balance at the expense of having to move and throw more and yet having to endure Lucas pressure throughout 12 rounds. I think the fight would benefit Lucas in the long run. Lucas used to be a notoriously slow starter and would turn on the heat has the fight progressed.

The fact that he has ended his fights faster than he used too does not take away that he showed great stamina in his two controversial loses against Judah and Alexander.

I fully understand where you guys are coming from there is no doubt Mathysse is the favourite so I could land up with egg on my face. A big thanks to The Weebler, joesaiditstrue and yourself for a good debate - looking forward to the fight.

Did Danny Garcia wanted to take the Lucas Matthysse fight in the first place?
                  I don't remember.

Nope, Took a long time to get signed.

When you watch Angel Garcia in the new training videos, he's nervous and worried.

it's going to be a great fight. Garcia can get lucky, and that will be his only shot since we haven't seen Mathysse take a shot on the chin from someone like Garcia.

Lucas Matthysse has KO power in both hands, and his left hand is a huge asset.
Once Lucas gets inside, he's hard to deal with.
Does Danny intend to box Lucas? Peterson did it with grace until he got badly tagged. Does Danny want to stay in the distance? Lucas will jump inside.

(One of the best broadcasts ever: Danny at the ring side, just after the Matthysse-Peterson fight.)
