The best fight for 2014 will be...

Adrian Broner vs the Garcia/Matthysee winner.

I know a lot of posters dislike Broner, but after he beats Maidana, that will be the best fight to be made in boxing next year.

Also, TBH, there are some fights that could be better, but won't happen for various reasons.

Wilder vs any Klitschko isn't happening anything soon

I don't see Ward vs Kovolev being made

Santa Cruz vs Mares is still too early

After Floyd dominates Alvarez, I can't see any great fights for him in 2014

Pacquiao vs Bradley/Marquez winner is a rinse a repeat of stuff we have already seen.

Martinez is not gonna face Golovkin coming off a long layoff.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs Lucas "The Machine" Matthysse
      May 3rd, 2014

That will be the best night of boxing in 2014.

Too bad it'll never happen due to the fact lucas is going to sleep.

Garcia fans should be able to celebrate him lasting 4 rounds. That's as good as it's going to get.

Yea ok we will see come sept 14. I got my money on swift and he will emerge victorious. If dumb ass matthysse fought for the ibf as well danny could've been the undisputed champ at 140 but sadly the belt isn't up for grabs. Although we will all recognize the winner as undisputed regardless. Swift by ko, come back sept 15 and lets hear what you've got to say.

Wasn't Matthysse's choice to not fight for IBF title. He'll be the full WBC champ on September 15th though.

I don't think Matthysse is well enough known yet to get the Mayweather fight.

I say, with hope, Vitali Klitschko vs David Haye OR Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
