The Mexiphobes can't resist the immediate gratification and aren't being cerebral about the complexities of long term effects.

marquez at age 39 hooked up with heredia who tried to conceal his identity by changing his name but only got exposed soon after...and then he gained enormous one punch KO power demonstrated by knocking down and knocking out pac which he couldn't do in his PRIME..again all at age 39...
can't wait for marquez to volunteer for all year round testing to prove he and heredia are doing things clean...
and conte isn't a steroid chemist....
It doesn't matter if Juan Marquez or Nonito Donaire does year-round testing because when they are out of competition, the results can basically be concealed if they want. Also, if they turn up positive out of competition, there will be no penalty from any boxing commission. So doing year-round testing is basically useless and would only be done for 'show.'
Year-round testing will only carry meaning if NSAC takes their newly formed random drug testing to a new level -- doing it year-round while fighters are out of competition. Because if they are caught, there will at least be a penalty from NSAC and the positive will be made public. And this is despite the fact that NSAC isn't the most 'clean' acting organization.
And year-round testing only works if all fighters are doing the same thing. If Juan Marquez is doing it and his opponents are not doing it, what is the damn point? The purpose of the testing is to protect against other fighters and vice-versa.Last edited by radioraheem; 08-21-2013, 08:45 PM.

Not to single him out, you also gotta wonder about JMM, Pac, Sergio, Ward, Broner, Donaire, Hopkins, Klits, Haye, Canelo (went looking for Memo), Quillin, lots more. And maybe Mares as well.
