Curtis Stevens vs. Gennady Golovkin

Stevens is a decent opponent if GGG's team cant lure any of the top guys into a bout. He has serious power, quick hands, comes to fight and talks the talk. It will be interesting to see how Gennady handles his power IF he scores on him which is no given...
In truth Stevens has a punchers chance and nothing more and even that dont look great because so far Golovkin has looked rock solid. Golovkin is just a different caliber of fighter imo and will knock his man out. Before 6 for sure, maybe WAY before, like a round or two....

This and Stevenson-Kovalev are the kind of match ups that are guaranteed to entertain.

Stevens is going to run first time he gets clipped hard. Bank on it.

Golovkin will ko Stevens within 4 rounds. Technically Stevens is of slightly lower quality than Macklin but his tremendous power is always going to make him a threat against anyone. Could even be a 1st round ko.

GGG will win emphatically but credit to Stevens for squawking and getting a payday and fight. He's peaking now so the time is right for him. If he gets lucky, he has a lottery ticket.If he loses, which he will, he can still fight on. And he'll probably cede early so he won't be under a sustained pummeling. Good for Curtis.
