Comments Thread For: Glazkov To Help Klitschko Prepare for Povetkin Defense

28-year-old undefeated Ukrainian heavyweight prospect Vyacheslav Glazkov (15-0-1, 11KOs) has accepted an offer to become one of the sparring partners to WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight championWladimir Klitschko, who on October 5 will defend his titles against "regular" WBA champion Alexander Povetkin at Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia.

"Just the other day I got a call from the CEO of K2 Promotions Ukraine, Alexander Krasiuk, and he proposed for me to come over and spar with Vladimir Klitschko. I agreed. I will help him prepare for the fight against Alexander Povetkin," Glazkov told Segondnya Sports.

High-quality sparring for Glazkov too, he said the sparring with Adamek was good for him. He looked sharp in his last fight, albeit against a clubfighter in Jolley.

I wish he'd sign with K-2 and be managed properly like Golovkin is now.

Now that is indeed some very good sparring. I don#t if Chagaev can also fight with an orthodox stance. If I had to fight Povetkin, I will choose at least those fighters :

      - Odlanier Solis ( amazing for handling Povetkin's assaults)

      - Manuel Charr ( excellent to prepare for Povetkin's pressure)

      - Bermane Stiverne

      - Ola Afolabi

      - Marco Huck

I am more than sure that Solis would give an amazing sparring session to W.K.
