Boone actually has a good punch and is crafty. He dropped Andre Ward, rocked Kovalev in the first fight etc.

He is a good chin checker. Very sneaky left hook.

As noted, Boone is a bit of an underrated fighter for what his actual record is. He knocked Ward down and had him on ***** street. Knocked Kovalev down and arguably deserved to win their first fight according to some (I've never seen it). Knocked out Stevenson.

I think Kovalev is far more proven than Stevenson. Stevenson's best win is against Dawson, who was coming off a loss and was weight-drained in his previous fight. Kovalev beat Cleverly, who had never been dropped in his career at that point, and Campillo, who if nothing else, was a former champion.

IMO Kovalev's top three wins are collectively more impressive than Stevenson's, though Stevenson probably has the best single win.

As for Stevenson's chin, he was rocked by Don George and stopped hard by Boone. That's not enough to say that his chin is poor, but I'm not confident that he's durable.
