Wake me up when Maidana looks good against a top level boxer and we'll see how much he's really improved. Broner will likely beat his ass comfortably.
I'm not going back and forth with u on this one...u've already posted this and I've told u why I disagree....time will tell, hopefully in a khan rematch one day

Why the hell do you think Alexander's team wanted 10 rounds if not for an advantage?
it's not black and white like u say...u have to factor in styles and past performances under those circumstances. alexander didn't perform well in a 10 round comeback fight against matthysse while matthysse and maidana had very similar styles. given the result logic would indicate alexander should hold no advantage in a similar fight

they opted to take a 10 round fight because he was coming off a loss against bradley when he fought matthysse and an 8 month lay off after this fight...fighters do this all the time (margarito after mosley, malignaggi after khan)

it's meant to shake off the ring rust or measure what a fighter's got left...hell matthysse did a 10 round fight himself after his robbery against alexander...there's no hidden agenda here

Khan beat Maidana, Kotelnik, Judah, Peterson, Malignaggi.

Alexander beat guts like Junior Witter and Juan Urango.

      Is there any comparison?

Oh and people lauding up Alexander's win over Maidana which was at 147lbs. Please remind yourself of this - it was also a St.Louis Special 10 round fight.

Khan fought Maidana over 12 rounds. If Khan had fought over 10, he'd probably have scored close to a shutout.
wasnt it the 10th round win khan did the boogaloo?

Khan hasn't fought a 10 round fight since stepping up to world level.

mostly because he keeps getting undeserved title shots

Maidana is getting a big fight next and he will lose. Then he'll start fighting gatekeepers again so morons can think he's actually "improved"

Who did all those guys face in 10 round fights? Yeah that's right....10 round opponents.....bums.

Alexander fights 10 rounders against fighters who are at his level. They obviously thought Matthysse was just a puncher and that backfired when they realised Mathysse could box a little bit. Or maybe it didn't backfire cos they got the robbery decision. They wanted 10 rounds because it gives Devon less time to have to survive and get the robbery on the scorecards if it comes to that.

There's no hidden agenda? Who the fuk are you kidding pal?

yeah or maybe the gods descended and told alexander he'd get a gift decision against matthysse if he insisted on a 10 round fight....ur whole argumentation is founded on 'maybes'...unless u're a mind reader or part of this whole alexander success scheme

if a fighter improves it doesn't make him invincible...just better, "pal"

What Gods? Who needs Gods when you're in St. Louis??!!

My argument is focused on sound logic. It's easier to survive 10 rounds than it is 12. How do you NOT understand that? Get through 10 rounds and we get the decision.

As for Maidana "improving", he'll only improve when he actually beats a top fighter and not gatekeepers or bums. That's his level and he hasn't improved beyond it.

                  What?

Which of his title shots hasn't he deserved? Please enlighten me.
Remember this is Amir Khan, not Zab Judah we are talking about.

the kotelnik fight...ortiz was slated to face him but warren outbid gbp, the funny part is khan never even fought as a lww

that fake silver wbc belt that he showed off when he beat carlos "who?" molina

the wba belt that was returned to him right before the garcia fight even though the wba didn't wait out the whole peterson investigation, although this instance isn't a title shot per se

                    • Khan as his wins were all without too much controversy (if any)

Couple that with the fighters he has been in with and lost, if he has learnt anything from them then he has the much better resume.
