I dunno'. I don't think Oscar packs enough power to really harm Winky. Winky's got a damn good chin and I can't think of a time he's been knocked down off the top of my head in recent years. Even a juicing Vargas couldn't KO Winky....

did vargas ever really have a chance of getting good hints. i havent seen that fight so i cant say anything. i think no one could beat winky right now but if de la hoya uses boxing using his jab he would have the best chance. pbf wont fight winky at 154 only person he would fight at that weight would be de la hoya for a pay day. i think he would out box tarver the longest he can stay away from taylors power punch

They each took good shots on more than a few occasions. Winky was hurt a good deal but mostly from major shots to the body. I highly recomend trying to find a link to the fight because it was a damn good one.

Could be Mayorga. While he coudl get dominated while getting picked off with jabs all night, if the blueprint for beating WInky right now is to frustrate him with punches from odd angles-then Ricardo fits the bill. I think it'd have to happen at 154 for it to be more realistic and WInky wants to be at 160 for good. I think Wright would win the fight but there is a case to be made that Mayorga could give him fits that better boxers can;t

as a fan of sturm somewhat, i voted for him as i think it would make an interesting technical fight. actually, i'm more on the fence on this one than any other option. this would be one of those fights that casual boxing fans might not appreciate.

taylor/wright would certainly be interesting also.

** Surely you jest. Mayorga is a pitiful boxer and that beating Tito gave him didn't do his limited strength any favors. There's a reason Oscar wants him as a tune up if he comes back.

At any rate Soliman already beat him in their hearts and Wright will outjab him and rough him up.
