Man... still can't believe how amazing this fight was. We had 2 fight of the year candidates on the same night near the same time.
Geale/Barker and Miura/Thompson.
Anyway, that was a good turn around for Thompson. I thought he was done during the sixth and the fight should have been stopped. He visibly looked like he didn't want it and was lucky the ref didn't stop the fight after the knockdown in the sixth. Anybody else agree or disagree?
Anyway, hopefully there's a Miura/Uchiyama rematch at the end of the year if not sooner
