Comments Thread For: Zab Judah Inks Promotional With Golden Boy Promotions

LOS ANGELES - One of the premier boxers of this era, Zab "Super" Judah has won five world titles in two weight divisions, but he still has plenty of goals left, including winning another championship and continuing to give fans more exciting fights. So it is with great pleasure that Golden Boy Promotions is announcing a joint venture with Super Judah Promotions to co-promote Judah and make sure the world continues to see this boxing superstar on the sport's biggest stages.

"Super Judah Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions working together is phenomenal," said Judah. "I have been doing business with Golden Boy Promotions for a number of years, working both with them and against them and I know what it's like to be on both sides. Through those times, I see that we are a perfect fit. This joint venture will give me the experience I need as a promoter and get me the big fights I want at this point of my career."

      Most likely.

Man, how many more chances are the IBF gonna give Judah.

The IBF is the most corrupt of them all.

Had Zab been more disciplined earlier on in life we'd be speaking entirely different about his legacy. His pops was the real deal but that family family thing in my opinion limited Zab mentally for years. Glad to see him securing food for his kids with these paydays but man the focus arrived a wee bit too late in his life.

Happy for Zab, a rocky story with a super ending for the man.
          Hope he wins another belt.

I think Peterson is going to fight Jean who is his mandatory next. Schafer was talking about making Peterson Judah for this fall but Peterson's team didn't seem interested. I could see the fight happening next year maybe now that Judah is with GBP now.

Agree 100%. Zab had the physical tools to be invincible. Watching him vs Floyd for the first few rounds, beating Floyd to the punch...Just looking superior on many levels until the mental breakdown.

I alway rooted for Zab in all his fights except for Cotto & Garcia fights. I am pro-Rican like that.

eh no the WBA and WBC are far worse. The IBF is arguably the best of the bunch, one belt, no interims or super champions, enforces its mandatorys etc etc. Still has its faults sure but they are better than the rest.
