On Saturday night blue chip prospect Jessie Magdaleno (15-0) will step in the ring under the guidance of Joel Diaz for the first time. Magdaleno is scheduled to face veteran Jose Luis Araiza (31-8-1) at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale, Calif. The fight will be aired on UniMas.
In a recent conversation with BoxingScene.com, Magdaleno said that everything has been smooth as he as worked along side his brother Diego under the watchful eye of Diaz in Indio, Calif.
"I've been working with him the last 6 weeks. It's been great with all of his experience. He has taught me some new things. Everything we've worked on has been great," Magdaleno stated.
The undefeated bantamweight admitted that he doesn't know a whole lot about his opponent. He does however know his record and knows that he sports an impressive knockout percentage. [Click Here To Read More]
