Rocky Roman Martinez to vacate WBO title!!!

Rocky Roman has stated that he will vacate his title if he does not get offered a better deal $$$ against Mikey Garcia. This after Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, President of the OMB is forcing him to fight Garcia.

This week they will once again go over the $$$ and terms and if not satisfied he will drop the title and go after the IBF title of the same division and fight Argenis in hopes of a better pay.

Depending on the opponent this week should have a clear picture on the next step in his career.

"It is assumed that this week will leave all clear if he fights Garcia or not, if the offer is improved I think we can reach an agreement" said Martinez.

"Rocky" does not rule out leave vacant his WBO title and seek a better pay and confront the champion of the IBF in the same division.

"Anything can happen, if we don't come to an agreement (fight with Garcia), well, yes, if the corner of Argenis offers a good deal also could be.. Yes , I am ready to fight with anyone, I was champion, I am a champion but I also fight for what is right! If the pay is fair I will fight with anyone, I am a warrior" he said.

Good for "Rocky," man. He wanted better money to fight Garcia, but the organization was forcing him to fight Mikey anyway. It's bullshit. It sucks that Roman has to vacate his title to stand up for his rights, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
